About K-Beauty Radar
K-Beauty Radar shows what people in Korea are buying right now, what it costs in Korea, and where you can buy it in the US, UK and EU. It is run by a software developer in Seoul.
Where the data comes from
- Trending in Korea: how much people in Korea searched for each product on Naver, Korea's largest search engine, over the last four weeks (NAVER API HUB Search Trend). Updated every morning.
- Price in Korea: the regular price at Olive Young, checked by hand. Each product page shows the date it was checked. Sale prices in Korea are often lower.
- Creator videos: recent reviews found with the YouTube Data API and shown with YouTube's own player. Creators do not endorse this site.
- Photos: from Open Beauty Facts (CC BY-SA), credited on each product page.
How we make money
Some links to stores are affiliate links. If you buy through them, the store may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never change our rankings: the order comes only from Korean search data.
Privacy
This site has no accounts, no ads and no tracking cookies of its own. Stores you visit from here may set their own cookies to credit the referral. Embedded YouTube videos follow YouTube's privacy policy.
